Aalders of New York

Hendricus Aalders and Geertruida Daalmeijer ,Their Dutch descendants

Hendricus Aalders was born 2 Feb 1806 ,son of Adriaan Aalders and  Naatje van den Bergh. He married on 24 April 1844 Geertruda Magdalena Daalmeijer born in Amsterdam in 1808.    Her husband had reregistered as a citizen of Amsterdam living in the Koningstraat 244 .

 (Daalmeijer) Hendrik Aalders born 9 May 1845 in Amsterdam , died 2 Mar 1904 in Haarlem .Hendrik was the son of Hendricus Aalders and Geertruida  Daalmeijer ,                                                               

My Dad ,Gerardus Adrianus Johannes  Aalders, remembered Geertruida as “Tante Truitje” wife of  “Oom Hein”  (Uncle Hein )  Uncle Hein in 1896 ,tried his luck in businesss first in Utrecht but later on 14 June 1902 ,he was drawn to Amsterdam.  As a family Hendrik and Truitje had more success

 This couple had children .,who remained in the Netherlands  ,.2 Sons Hendrik and Adriaan  migrated to New York .
